The challenge
KIBO needed its executives recognized as credible voices on order management, unified commerce and, more recently, agentic AI. It sells to retailers, manufacturers and distributors, and competes against much larger platforms. That visibility had to show up where buyers read and where AI search engines look for answers.
The approach
- Executive-led thought leadership. 2pinz placed bylines under KIBO’s CEO and its marketing and product leaders, matching each topic to a trade outlet’s audience.
- Repeat editorial relationships. Rather than chasing one-off hits, 2pinz built standing relationships with editors in retail, supply chain and ecommerce.
- Launch coverage. Product and partnership announcements went to targeted trade and martech media, including the March 2025 agentic commerce launch.
- Podcasts for depth. Long-form interviews gave executives room to explain KIBO’s point of view, with EMEA reach through shows like Re:platform.
- Selectivity. 2pinz declined pay-to-play recognition offers that did not fit the program.
Results, November 2023 to October 2026
The KIBO PR Tracker logs 63 placements in three years, and bylines are the largest share.
- 24 contributed bylines: 9 in 2024, 8 in 2025 and 5 so far in 2026, plus 2 in late 2023.
- 8 podcast and interview appearances, including Re:platform, Retail Checks & Balances and Ecommerce Coffee Break.
- 3 high-reach placements: two Digital Commerce 360 features in February 2026 (an outlet with roughly 300,000 monthly visitors) and an interview in The New Stack.
- Repeat editorial relationships: TotalRetail (5 bylines), Retail TouchPoints (4), SupplyChainBrain (3) and RTInsights (3), plus CMSWire, MDM and SDCExec.
- Agentic commerce positioning: coverage in Retail TouchPoints, MDM, Retail Today, Techstrong.ai and Digital Commerce 360.
